I don't have a picture but my employer is matching 100% of donations given to the Red Cross for the next 2 weeks. Our Nextdoor.com has gathered tons of donations of necessary items for the folks in the devastation of Hurricane Harvey. We are safe here and relatively undamaged but everyone has banded together to help. People were emptying the shelves at the dollar store and others today of requested items.

This is what we are as Americans. Not the hate filled people you see in certain places but the folks who put everything aside to help others. My heart is broken for all those who have lost everything but I am uplifted by the kind hearts and generosity of people helping out.
