If it doesn't matter who is pres or who is in congress, what does matter? I think we need to fix the system one part at a time. If we can get a non sellout president, iow not jeb, hill or the like, then we have started. We need to stop bribery, also known as campaign donations, pacs, jobs after office, speaking fees, and so on. We need to keep outside money out of our races, saudi arabia can donate tons of money using various schemes to influence the outcome. Just for example they buy ads attacking the opponent or praising the one they want to win.

if you think about it and what I don't get is that out of over 300 million in this country of ours all we can come up with is more Bush or Clintons? pretty effin pathetic.....

I'm from Texas though.. You live in a Blue state Athena.   My 11 year old daughter comes home confused..All her friends say the opposite what she is taught.   We live in a neighborhood that is 95% Republican.  I know..  I was precinct chairman and Alternate Election judge)  of my precinct.  At the Primary Election The Rep side had lines.. I had 12 people all day long come to my side  LOL.  I  get used to it..    get beat up all the time.
I can talk a little politics here among friends..  But where I live.. I never do..Never. I never win.  don't want to win....   Futility was learned many years ago.  :-)

That ain't no lie I live in Texas as well I moved here from Iowa and I HATE the way people are taught to think here in Texas they are indoctrinated into believing that republicans are the bast way and it's just not and God forbid you disagree with anyone.  I just need to move.

I don't think either gop or dems are very good. There are a few good ones in each party but over all they are a bunch of crooked sellouts.

Not that I'm a big fan of carson, he is a war hawk and way to the right and has some strange ideas. But being black he will pick up a lot of votes for the ticket he is on. Being vp is a fairly safe spot to put him.

When I applied for Obama Care on unemployment they said I didn't qualify. Lol not even for $10 towards an insurance plan.. The program is complete useless.. I had to use charity care

Our whole government is useless when it comes to helping US citizens. But let some tragedy happen somewhere else in the world and they're all over it.

I am more informed about Billarys favoured postion now more than ever before, and I too have a mental image seared into my brain.. of her, riding moustache. The 1st page was full of Billary riding moustache. You guys make me laugh.

Considering that most "things" on the internet are priced using the US dollar, (no matter which country you come from), the country itself imo, should be doing much better. 2 years ago, and I was surprised at how run down the place looked.
Just like Cricket said, the country (not only the US) is there for others when tragedy strikes, but when it comes to their own, they give the least support. The last part was from what I have seen in THIS country.

my houseshare partner got obamacare coverage in re: insurance. then, maybe six months later, he needed emergency colorectal surgery. turns out that he was sold premium car insurance. or, he would have to lie and say he was injured at work.

sighs. he is on medicaid now. his surgeon helped him get it. then, after the surgery, tells him he wont take medicaid.

so, partner got a bill for 217,000. i read the bill. two surgeons are charging him 68 thousand each for removing the same piece of his colon. three hours apart.

those doctors are now in trouble as their nursing staff turned them in for inappropriate behavior.

the new surgeon for the reversal told him, that no one removed any part of his colon. they both lied.

i just love dealing with the government. and, those whom attempt medicaid fraud. what swell doctors.

i just won't go to one anymore.

Damn, that's unbelievable. You really have to read those medical bills closely because they always try to slip in things to try and get away with. Healthcare in this country is becoming a bad joke. It's very good you saw that. Most people just pay the bill and don't bother to check.
Those 2 doctors should be kicked outta medicine for lying like that.
