2mg Dissolvable banana-flavored Clonazepam?? (Clonotril-2)

If I didn't have one of these dissolving under my tongue as we speak, I wouldn't have believed they exist! They are so delicious they are on the verge of being dangerous.
Has anyone else here had any experience with these? And by chance, does anybody have any clue as to their specific potency? (i.e. The percetage of actual clonazepam per 2mg pill.)

PS ashylarry is right: CBT is the only true answer.

At one point I was unable to source alp, so I took clonis instead. Personally I do not like them.

I was taking 2-5 mgs a day (to match my alp dosage)
Those clonitril are tasty  Tongue

I would often my self lost and my short term memory was almost zero. I would loose my keys or my wallet and forget where I put things. I lowered my dose and found I was functional but it didnt help my anxiety as much as alp. Just kind of chilled me out all day.

Alos I found great relief with Diazepam. It has a long half life like Clon but I found it not to have the negative side effect i experienced with Clon

I guess this is kind of the opposite of your plan. but I thought id share regardless.
Hope you find the relief your looking for alp helps me a lot.

I really appreciate the input. I've tried a few different benzos to relieve my anxiety. I've tried diazepam which did work well but other than using iop's I have very little access to them. I also tried midazolam which I think may have just been too strong for me. I was a zombie. I take a small amount of clon with a small amount of lorazapam and it seems to provide the relief I need. However I do find the effects starting to wane. I fear going up in dose because I do not want to be a zombie. I need to remember "things". Lol. I know a lot of people on here really like alp so I'm very curious about people that have used both, so your input was great.

Wow that is a very high dose. Did you find it easy to function on this dose? My benzos are mainly for the work I'm in as it is a very high stress, high anxiety job. Sometimes I wonder if it's the job or the company. Kinda off topic lol. But yeah, I'm very curious how well you did on this Rx.

Have you ever tried gabapentin or gababalin for anxiety relief??  Gabapentin works wonders for my anxiety and depression without a lot of the negative side effects associated with B3nzos! Gababalin is its a more potent chem that works the same way on your nervous system as gabapentin.

They work on your central nervous system like a benz0 or antihistamine but in a much different way. I had not heard of this med being prescribed for anything but nerve pain until a friend told me it had helped his anxiety. After some research i tried it and found it a better and healthier alternative for me.

I posted this days before but the mods deleted a lot of my stuff.

Hope you find relief, just know for most there isnt a magic pill for anxiety
Cognitive behavioral therapy helps a lot of people so you might want to give that a try. Assuming you have access to an affordable therapist

Goodluck

Larry

P.S.

What line of work are you in if you dont mind me asking??
Sorry guys, been off for the past few days, traveling and family time, its what the holidays are all about, hope everyone had a great time with theirs!!!   And to Larry the answer to your question is, i am a commercial construction superintendent.  Lots of people and money on the jobs that i am in charge of.  If anyone has a question i am the one they come to and i need to know the answers, on the spot, so it is definitely stressful.

As far as the dosage i am a big guy as well, who does powerlifting, so i would think my size might have something to do with the amount of med needed to work well for me?!  Kind of a question as much as an answer...
Just here to add my 2cents, Ive been rx klonopin 2mg 1xday for like 4 years. Just recently I talked to my doc about switching to x@nax. I didnt feel the klonopin was helpful anymore and my anxiety was different.  He agreeed with my rationalization.

So basically, i think some meds work better for different bodies. I also believe medicine needs to be adjusted/changed depending on where you are in life. I have developed some agoraphobia issues and somedays just going to the park with my 2y/o or taking a trip to the grocery store is panic inducting, its not all day and not everyday; therefore the alp is better for me at this stage in my life.

I would ask yourself, what kind of anxiety issues do you have, and go from there. Also, being a bigger person doesnt always mean more meds, and in the case of alp tolerance builds so very quick so be aware of that.

Hopefully that didnt come off as preaching, just giving my 2cents Smile
I take other things to help with my power lifting and to gain size certain times of the year. I have only been doing this type of stuff the last year when i reached a peak and couldnt get over it. So i started using tools in the powerlifting world to get over my peak. Im in my early 30's but have been lifting for about 18 years, with a break here and there for a few months even a year sometimes, but then back at for 3-4-5 years straight then a break again. i notice when i use certain tools my anxiety is a little higher and even worse then when i stop.

My job is crazy stressful and that plays a big role in the amount/tolerance i have to Ks@lols/X@nies. It is what it is, i hate that saying but it is useful sometimes. thanks for the 2 cents, those add up after awhile and can really help when a bunch are gathered!!
I like the bananna flavored clons....are you suppossed to dissolve them? I just take em with a swig of propel. Am I missing out on the full effectiveness?
After reading this thread, I'm beginning to think that clon might be better than alp for me, because my anxiety is more chronic than acute. My doctor put me on alp straight away and never even mentioned other options. I think I'll bring up clon and see what she says about it. I just don't want the stigma of "pill seeking behavior" on my medical record, so I bite my tongue and take what they rx me without asking many questions.
Yea i feel great, calm and relaxed on 1-2 mg

You researched meds that will better your specific condition

I like the clonotril, but they are kind of weird.
It's important for members to understand "1/2 life".

That measurement is not how long one benefits from the med....but rather how long it remains in the body....these are not one and the same.

In fact, the longer the 1/2 life, the more likely a toxic buildup.
Every member should educate themselves on this subject....it is an important statistic.
This was informative. I've been thinking what the differences are myself. Thanks all
been on alp long, then over year moved to vals, and actually never tried clonz.but from what i gather its best out of two strength and half life wise.while vals can keep one stable for days.alp is quick to kick in and does a job when needed, but longerm its a drain since the more its used the faster body flushes it out, thus relief of 3-5h isnt much help, compared feeling balanced for 1-2 days while on proper val dosage, and not having fluctuating ups and downs.
