Charon ... So good to hear that your partner is doing much better despite those dipsh!tz at the horse-pittle ...
And as far as that inconsiderate bastage "employer" talking about you that way, I canlt believe he's still got a few teeth left!
Well as long as your partner is crabby, then that alone shows improvment and that's a blessing .. BUT ... You still have to devote some"Charon" time so your battery can recharge itself... If the both of you get down at the same time ... Well it could be bad .. All bad .. And we can't have none of that...
I have to say, I know you've been dealing with heaps of stuff as of late, but I've sure missed seeing your posts here! It just doesn't feel right when you're not around as much ...
You always know what to say that make an ugly situation not look so bad and can keep all the munchkins in a row ... Guideance ... That's what we all need the most here and you give us that sprinkled with love ...
Take good care my dear Charon ...
u r such a sweetheart my friend. i am so glad u agreed to be my friend.
u, sir, are the Word Wizard as well as the Ice Wizard. You always know how to diffuse an awkward moment.
You never fail to respond to a poster.
I have been taking care of me the last couple days. I feel as though I was a sloth. Its very ingrained in me, from the Bible no less, if one does not work, one cannot be allowed to eat in good conscience. took me years to realize the caregiving i do, and now the online help, is deemed work in God's eyes. But, Ha! I was the original group of anorexics. We were called the golden girls. But, I have taken my ensure and had a tad of solid food most days. I promise. I took vegetarian protein. Tofurkey. omg. it sux. but, it does not scream when its killed, so to speak.
sorry. no offense. i know u r an actual hunter. that does not bother me. (I used to say: I cannot eat my friends, but, as u mite imagine, saying that would often get me in trouble. Men cannot seemingly resist saying something. Just as I know whom is the man in a room, when I say: bite me. In conversation. Men usually must respond to that remark, and then i know they have the fun and fire in them. But, as usual I digress. TMI?)
I always say, I am sinner and saint.
Promise I am now taking care of myself again and have gotten rest.
I do note that fewer members r here when I am not showing, when I use Invisible Mode, so I know that some come by out of courtesy. And, I owe them my presence. It is how friends keep in touch. At least weird friends like us all.
All my love, my Ice Wizard. I remember ur two posts and ur avatar from ETs place. I could read there. So, I instantly let u in. The rest is history.
One could not find a better member nor friend than you have been, Ice.
So glad to hear things are improving, except for Mr. Employer's misconduct. Never kick a man or woman when they're down.
Everyone has kept things running smoothly. We have a GREAT team here.

Never forget ... you will always get everything that you need, even at times when it does not seem enough. When the days are too long, and the nights remain cold.
The words were written ..do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own
Weird?????? lol
You might not get what you want,
but if you try sometime,
you just might find,
you get what you neeeed ...
Kinda sounds like a tune, now don't it

not weird, whatapain. that is scripture. do not worry about tomorrow as tomorrow has enough evil of its own.
good to see u. hope u r well, my friend.
(a glorious tune, ice.)
oh, update: people r bringing cars here. the back house is his extra shop.
so, he is working gently. very important to his german work ethic.
really adjusted well to this. and, i think he really appreciates that i am a caregiver. when we work together, it is all much easier on him.
why, in fact, we may go out to hear his friend's son playing at the local bar tonight.
(i never used to be invited. i believe he has learned through this experience. it is not so embarrassing to be seen with a woman whom is disabled, when one is himself somewhat disabled at the moment. his will be reversible. mine is not. but, he brought me out with his friends like a week ago. oh my!! they were very impressed with me. i let him be the center of attention, but, some women may not have been so willing to care for another. dunno. its whom i am. and, his friends told him, u do know she is stunningly beautiful, don't u? no, i don't think he ever thought that. he is such a confirmed bachelor for all these years. and, his last girlfriend, 8 yrs ago, was cruel and used him. so, he was afraid to trust again.)
in the end, i think he may be too weak tonight to go out. he works very hard. so thin now.
but, our friendship is grown and solidified now. he realizes not everyone even perceives me as disabled. they sometimes think i am a tad bit drunk due to my walk or gait on bad days. most can ignore that. his friends and he are finally realizing that the Invisible Woman of the last two years is far more visible in his life than he would let on.
Men. Especially confirmed bachelors. Seem to have some trouble in trusting, it would seem. It is nice to see he finally can acknowledge our friendship in public. Not so scary.

Thank you Charon for giving us the up-date.
It seems something good is coming of your partners sickness with his friends seeing the dear lady behind the man, so to speak, if and I hope you know what I mean. Invisible, ha.
Good, that they have seen better.
I do not know what you look like but I do know you are stunningly beautiful inside. And for my money that goes further than all the other stuff..
Anyway if you went out or not, I hope you saw that full moon ….so relaxing to view.
( Oh Charon , I wanted to thank you for the kind words, too. )
