i did not know that about mice. we always had a house full of cats whom just showed at our door. And, doggies we raised.

Animals r pure unconditional love. Anyone whom hurts them deserves a special place in hell, humble opinion and all.

As for the rats/mice ... I founf this stuff called "one bite" or "havoc" ... It's got the same active ingregient in both brands and it's only 0.0001 percent active stuff that works! I was getting it from a feed store and it works extremely well!! I've tried that "Dcon" junk, they might as well include streamers and party hats with it cause in my opinion it does nothing... Havoc works the first time and they seem to like the taste ... But don't let any of the animals you want to keep get into it! It may be all bad ...
My puppy got a hold of some and the vet told me to give him a Tablespoon full of hydrogen peroxide and if nothing happened in a little bit, give him another ... Man that dog threw up EVERYTHING in his stomach instantally. But it worked...
But using that havoc or one bite stuff really takes a toll on the mouse/rat population and fast!!

I'm happy to say I will have a new puppy coming into my life. My other Cocker really misses my old girl that passed. I went online looking at the sites of many Cocker breeders and found "THE ONE". She's a beautiful little baby and I can't wait to take her in my arms and snuggle her close. Hopefully she will be flying in from Missouri next week. I CAN'T WAIT! Luv at 1st sight.

This is driving me crazy. I have to wait a week before I can go to the airport to pick up my new baby.
It's gonna be so nice to have something happy in my life for a change.

I'm naming her Daisy in honor of my mom. Her name wasn't really Daisy, but I called her that because I was always having to drive her everywhere. Driving Miss Daisy. It kinda caught on with our friends and they started calling mom Miss Daisy LOL.

i only trained german shepherds that i would get from breeders. mine was a long haired german shepherd.

it was 2001. everyone on the plane tried to buy him. oh no.

so, in lite of the tragedy that had occurred in NY, i named him Dakota Blue R-W. (u know my last names r colors, right?)

glorious. i am so happy for u.

u will be driving miss daisy home in one week. wooo!!!! enjoy my friend.

Admin of Steel has advised me that a member, Driftwood, passed away Thursday morning.

He had been injured in a submarine accident, just a couple years back, and his injuries called him home.

He has family, and, if you pray or send good energy, I think his family would appreciate that.

No, not many  of you will remember him.  he was getting more ill when he joined here.  He did not post too much. But, he is well loved and well known at many a forum.

Driftwood:  I pray that u r free from all the pain.  all of it.  and, you have started to meet your loved ones.

(I wondered why you emailed much less of late.  I am sorry I did not realize you were so ill.)

I'm sorry for your loss, Charon. But I'm happy Pastor Frank has moved on to a better place. Condolences
