Charon,
Deepest sympathies. Lost mine at the age of 85, 9 years ago. If I can listen or be of any help, you know how to find me. Rumor.
I am sorry, rumor. Thank you. It is my niece of 48 whom died suddenly from lupus.

No doctors were expecting this. She is the mother of 2 infants, one being 10, the other 12.

Thank u so much. But, as i was caregiver, i shall never forget that my mother passed on feb 11. in 1994. None of us made it to age 72 in my clan.
Charon, so sorry for your loss,I will say a prayer today for you your niece and the two young ones.

Sudsy
My grandma passed away a few months ago from stomach cancer at the age of 90. I didn't grow up with parental figures so my grandma raised me my entire life. Even though I know that I have biological parents, I feel like I'm an orphan now. I've lost close friends and extended family members before but it was nothing compared to losing my grandma. Since this is my first time dealing with a death with in my immediate family, it's been extremely hard. I would randomly be reminded of her and cry. Does this happen to anyone else? And will it ever get better? :/
I am sorry channers. I do believe, in time, u can think of ur beloved grandma and just see the good memories and the things that make u smile.

It will get better. And, Yes, we have people here whom felt closer to their grandparents. And the grandparents raised them.

It is an horrific loss for you. I am so sorry. But, I firmly believe she is happy now, and you will see her again.

My prayers are with you my friend.

Thanks Charon. You are extremely sweet and awesome Smile I feel blessed to be a part of this forum, most of yall seem like genuine people.

I guess I'm still going through the 5 stages of grief and am stuck between stage 3: bargaining and stage 4: depression.

As long as there is life, there is hope. As long as there is hope, there is life.
