Good morning y'all. I've been so busy of late and while thinking of you regularly, have had less time to pop in for a cup of hot chocolate and a chat. I have just started a kitchen renovation - yes, this last year didn't seem adequately challenging to me and I felt I needed a new challenge in my life
- so I am hanging upstairs in my bedroom while loud banging fills the house as the old kitchen is dismantled. Just wanted to say hi to old friends and new on this thread; Ice, Fire, Is, Revolution, Audrey, Back2Good, Charon of course, Willie, Harley, Zander, Roses and Popster. Apologies to anyone I missed and have a good day all.

Good Morning IOP!
Today will be a cold rainy day so I get a break from gardening today.
I am glad though because my back & hands are hurting from the work I did yesterday.
So today I will take it easy. Maybe I will order some new candles from Yankee Candle. Burning scented candles is one of my obsessions & I get a lot of pleasure from collecting the different scents.
I hope you all have a good Monday without pain & anxiety.

Good afternoon everyone!
Monday again...BUT this Monday, or this week even, has a different feel to it.
The bathroom is getting completely ripped out and a new one put in, so the fiancé and I thought "to heck with it, lets spend the week in a hotel" - so each evening will feel like a holiday
Well Mon - Fri.
The main reason is to let the plumber and joiner get on with their work.
The dogs are fine my mum is off work this week so she's looking after them.
We actually curently live in one of my mums houses - we are between perminant homes (after 6 yesrs of living in town the fiance and I moved back into mums house to save, save, save for a new home, but the oil industry colappsed so job insecurity has kept us there) however we basically have the place to ourselves most the time so cant complain.
So yeah...with mum off work all week she doesn't really NEED a daily shower.
-The daily pre-work shower was reason number 2.
I must admit, the fact that the hotel has a gym, pool, spa, sauna & steam room...well that was reason number  3.
So should be good! Just hope the bed is comfy!
Im still going to hate the alarm each morning

Checked into the room and we must have the closest room to the gym, which means BOOM BOOM BOOM (loud music)Â from 5am to 10pm every day.
Its not like mental loud so I hope it doesn't wake us up at 5am each morning (we dont get up until after 6am)
I did pack earplugs though so should be ok.
Also the guy at reception said he can move us if its too loud but I hate to be that fussy guest!
Aaaaanyway I must confess, I have decided to give the gym a miss tonight, im just too tired for a 10K run (which is what I aim for) so I came...to the bar...on a MONDAY!Â
Im only allowing myself 2 beers tho

I hope those of you who are being afftected by ttm2u's current unfortunate situation are getting by.
