Greetings to all.

Good evening IOPList!  I've been a lurker for quite a while, finally getiing a real account approved tonight.

A little about me...my story began over 10 years ago with a solid punch to the face during a sparring competition.  Whiplash set in.  Fast forward to 2015.  After countless flare ups and visits to family docs did nothing, I entered pain mgmt.  What a hassle.  I'm giving up on it.  And here we are.

C4, 5, and 6 disk degeneration.  Traction twice a day, sometimes once if I happen to nod off.  Beyond that remains to be seen.  Stay tuned.

A boxing injury? None of us in my generation really knew how dangerous boxing could be.

I am sorry.

Glad to have you posting with us.

Thanks!  Password problems held me up for a bit.  All good now.

Yes, getting hit sucks.  Blows to the head are particularly no joke, especially when they are what one might call a "perfect" strike.  I was technically knocked out.  Though landing on the floor woke me up, left shoulder first with feet flying up in the air. Popped right back up off the floor, trying to be a tough guy.  Instant dizziness.  I tried hard afterward but needless to say, didn't win that bout.

One way or another, we'll straighten it all out.

Thanks for the welcome Charon, and IceWizard too!
