I finally reached 50 posts, but still have a problem

Hey I just finally reached my 50 post quota and instantly I got the extra gold star I wanted. It says I'm now a junior member. But for some reason I'm not able to see the sy vendors or the email only vendors. Does anybody know why?? Does it take time to calculate or something? I got my star and my junior member status but I didn't get those 2 other perks.

Well it seemed fixed but it's only partially fixed. I say that bc I have access but there's nothing there. No threads, no posts, nothing. Shouldn't there be some cool vendors for me to check out??

It worked for her. So, when u hit fifty, check. Then, wait a couple hours. You should then be able to see SY and private areas. k?

Hey there Nirvan,

All 50 posts have to be in "in topic" areas meaning that posts made in the "off topic" area don't count in the 50+ you have.  I think in my case I had 72 posts before I actually saw the other areas.  I know it has been discussed a few times here on the forum.  

You can always look at your posts in your profile and see how many off topic posts you have and get an idea of how many more you may need.

I think I'm going to have to see a breakdown of my posts too. My number says 50 posts, but perhaps I'm not seeing restricted areas is because my comments weren't in the proper sections. To be honest, I'm not necessarily looking for anything specific in the restricted areas, I'm just curious. I've had just fine luck with the vendors that are located where everyone can see! I'm just not sure what I'm looking for! Also, I'm on my phone searching; so everything is minuscule! ? Maybe I'm just not seeing it! Haha!

yes it is true that some of ur posts could have been in an area that did not count towards the 50 but maybe not too.

So also clear ur cache and log off and back in then try.
it sometimes may take until next day for the forum to catch up to you.

So try that and keep posting in areas that count for sure then try yet again, you will make it.

Thanks Mad Max! I appreciate your feedback! It's really not a big deal, I'll figure it out eventually! I registered as a user on this site to gain support and to educate myself and if needed, get help. I've used a few of the public view vendors and have zero problems with them (and will continue to use them in the future), I'm not in a rush to make a purchase right now though. No worries on me just being here to get to my 50 posts just to view the restricted area. I'll check it out eventually, and in the mean time, will be making more posts in this wonderful community! Thanks again!
