All clear for the decisive trial of ecstasy in PTSD patients

This is a great start to discover the potential uses to help people who are suffering. I'm all for the trial and hope it works.

I have not yet researched this. I have substantial PTSD. It does permeate every aspect of one's life. It seems to worsen as I age.

But, I am horrified by the suggested treatment. There is a stigma involved with usage. And, I hate the idea of tampering with my brain and body chemistry now that i have lasted this long.

MMJ can be awesome. But, I shall research this and follow this thread. Would be nice to learn it works. But it will piss me off if MMJ is still illegal. Kratom may go the way of the wind. But, Ecs is okie dokie if a doctor is experimenting?

They also claimed frontal lobotomies, and electric shock treatment could help.

So, I shall wait and watch. I guess I have to read about the med in question. Cuz even its name brings up PtSD concerns in me. I cannot be out of control. I would be terrified to take it and have a stranger in the room with me. Asking me questions. Yes, I do have issues. Abuse can do that to one.

But the members whom have researched this have positive feedback. Interesting. Now, make MMJ legal in the entire nation, keep kratom legal, and let us choose what treatment we would like to try.
