Bill Cosby Freed After PA Supreme Court Overturns Conviction

Bill Cosby has been released from a Philadelphia prison after the Pennsylvania state supreme court overturned his conviction on Wednesday, June 30.

The 83-year-old has already served two years in prison rather than admitting guilt.

The state supreme court found that an agreement with a former prosecutor prevented Cosby from being charged in the case, according to CNBC.



Cosby was denied bail in May, as Daily Voice previously reported.

And I guess King Cuomo will get off. I knew women claiming he made advances on them would not prevail. But I hoped for all the families of those whom died in NY, due to Cuomo's emmy winning handling of the covid pandemic, I would see him judged on this earth. As I do a private covid forum or two now, I know the pain. I pray for them daily. The one year anniversary has come up. They fall apart again. Thank God we are allowed to pray for them, as it really makes a difference for a prayer warrior to remember you. Your family. And your pain.

So, I believe King Cuomo deserves to be busted and lose his power over the covid scandal.

Not the harassment of women. We all got that. Even in law school, the criminal law professor, and Dean of Academic Integrity, gave out zeroes to all women whom refused to be his "research assistant." I got seven zeroes that semester. Ah, No, Professor Dornberg. But, I had women professors whom loved me. And other students. My grades returned to normal. But for being raised by an attorney, as an attorney, I may have been fearful. Pshaw.

But Cuomo quickly drafted 2 tickets to his assumed safety: The language of the immunity provision, as written in consultation with healthcare lobbyists, was remarkable in its scope. Not only were families of those who died from COVID-19 in nursing homes and hospitals blocked from bringing lawsuits. Almost all treatments, even those unrelated to coronavirus, were covered under the law, preventing New Yorkers from bringing ordinary malpractice suits.

No one died of covid. Then for awhile, everyone died from covid. The insurance companies made big money. Now many had to get the Death Certificate re issued cuz it never mentioned covid after the first few months of bodies in hot cars and bodies going into open graves in the olde paupers fields. And, in order to get the 9000$ burial re imbursement, the Death Certificate must say Covid.

I cannot believe Cuomo and Fredo still say he is a wonderful Governor. Just wait till the mario cuomo bridge crashes down.

But, unless the Me Too movement gets its act together, Cuomo goes on. Scum.

Yes, it is appalling that so many men are willing to take advantage of women "under their dominion and control," and never do they suffer any penalties. Disgusting.

Ok, been avoiding the heat. Off to shower to move furniture. Yes'm. It is only 95 degrees here now. Chicken feed.

All I can say - and stay civil - is that I am embarrassed to be a Pennsylvanian.

My heart goes out to the Women that had to and have to now continually endure the pain that I am sure
this brings them.

It's just terrible all these women have to re-live their pain seeing him come back home with a peace sign. This man is the opposite of peace. Hopefully we never have to see him again.

You see the Supreme Court overturn the jury’s decision over and over again. If a jury of his peers found him guilty, the conviction should stick. There is no doubt it’s who you know and how much money you have determines if your appeal will be successful. This is injustice for the many victims. This decision by the PA Supreme Court will discourage victims of similar crimes from reporting the crime or participating in the prosecution of their tormentors particularly if they are a celebrity.

This really is a slap in the face Of all survivors of sexual assault. That their bravery in coming forward against such a influential person didn’t mean anything because justice was not done. But I hope they realize they will go down in history as the brave ones and Cosby will always be known as a Sexual predator.
