I feel like such a sucker for being over there. After reading though all of this alot of things do make sense now. I got scammed by SL and as soon as I posted something about it BAM I was banned. The paying thing over there seemed weird but, I thought about it as if your willing to pay you probably weren't a LE. I hope that I can grow and be a valuable contributer.

Yeah, selective scammer. I guess I was lucky that one time 5 years ago or such. Should have kept the krypto...thinking about how much btc is worth now and how I was sending quarters of a btc back 7-8 years ago makes me wanna cry, had I kept it now, I'd be freaking rich Cry

Wow, it's been years but I saw all of this go down. The mass banning,  Jewbacca's deal, and starlight scamming members. I now realize how very lucky I was to not get scammed. There were some reliable vendors on their board, at least to me, and I've always tried to establish some sort of relationship with the regular sources I would use. This forum has a VERY different vibe than back in the day, and that's a good thing IMO. To be honest, the whole thing kinda drove me back "underground" and off of the forums as it seemed like everyone had a different story. It was a strange time.

Greetings. I am the Marmite Warrior.

As a newcomer perusing through various threads, i reckon this is a mandatory read. Tells such a story. Tallies with so many similar experiences.

Apple is right- The temptation is to disappear upon encountering danger or risk. But i think there is another way......trust. From what I've read so far that's a cornerstone of this place and it's not just talked about, its practiced. How delicate that atmosphere must be to maintain, especially over such a long period.

Respect to you all.
