Comedian Andy Dick Arrested for Public Intoxication,
Failing To Register as Sex Offender

California sheriff’s deputies responding to a complaint of an intoxicated individual ended
up arresting comedian Andy Dick early Friday morning.

Deputies from the Lake Elsinore Sheriff’s Station arrived at the Grand Avenue scene and
discovered the apparently intoxicated 57-year-old comedian.

Dick, a resident of Hemet, Calif., was arrested without incident according to a statement
from Sergeant Pat Larson, the reporting deputy.

“During a routine records check it was determined Dick was a registered sex offender who
was not up-to-date on his registration,” Sergeant Larson stated. “Dick was booked into
the Cois Byrd Detention Center on the charges of being under the influence of alcohol in
public (public intoxication) and failing to register as a sex offender.”

The comedian was sentenced to 90 days in jail after being convicted of sexual battery,
in November 2022, according to a report from The Blast. After being convicted of grabbing
a Los Angeles Uber driver’s crotch in 2018, he was required to register as a sex offender.











The report noted Dick was sentenced to 14 days in jail for sexual battery in December 2019
for allegedly assaulting a woman on a sidewalk as he walked past. He spent just one day
behind bars for that offense because of jail overcrowding.

Dick was arrested by Los Angeles Police Department officers in November 2021 for felony
domestic battery, according to a TMZ report. The comedian reportedly hit his boyfriend over
the head with a liquor bottle, following an argument.

He was fired from the independent movie “Raising Buchanan,” in 2017, following accusations
of sexual harassment on set, according to a Hollywood Reporter report.

Dick said it’s possible he licked people and confirmed making advances on others but
vehemently denied groping claims, the Hollywood Reporter noted.

The comedian was previously tossed from a 2007 Jimmy Kimmel episode for
rubbing Ivanka Trump’s legs, according to a People report.

Dude's a habitual loose cannon. Guess intervention is outta the question or no one has the nutz to help Dick.
Everyone has a rock bottom, sometimes it's death.

I met him about 15 years ago and he wasn't a nice guy. We were in a bar and he kept trying to put his drinks on my tab. That was a while ago and I think he's developed a lot more problems since then.

He seemed to be on the marching powder, or in a manic phase (maybe both). I had no idea who he was as I'm from the UK and Andy Dick hasn't crossed over. Just sat at a nice bar and the world's most annoying man arrived and wanted to be friends. I was writing in my journal and he took out a big black sharpie and drew a big d*** (i.e. the image of his last name). He seemed to think I'd be very pleased. I wasn't.

I don't think asking first was his strong point.

God knows how he is still alive. 
I remember him on Celebrity Rehab years ago and he was one of the worst to ever do the show.

i loved that show though. Dr Drew screwed up quite a few of em. Made up stories about others. But he did Alice in Chains guy wrong. and the one from Cheers. Dr. Drew started him on back surgeries. Which became his addiction. sighs.
