Long story that I'll keep short (try to!). I posted a rant that was vague and could have been directed at anyone including someone here. My mistake for not clarifying that it was directed at someone completely unrelated to this refuge! I had members & mods reach out to me to make sure nobody here was trying to do me mental harm.

I SO appreciate all the care and consideration from everyone! I'm dealing with a lot of junk with work and with a volunteer position I took on that has turned out to be a full time job with people trying to trow up roadblocks to progress.

I won't name those who reached out to me, you know who you are, but I sincerely appreciate all of you for your concern and for looking out for me!! So instead of a rant I have a huge thank you!!

And btw, I made progress with the person I had the rant against so maybe things are looking up.

I am pleased to hear that all has somewhat worked out for the moment. I agree with you that this is a refuge and Safe haven For many of us. I know I’m still new but glad your all right.

Sorry for the scare with your dad Fire but glad it was all ok. My grandpa refused to wear his "I've fallen" neck thing too. I asked him one time what would happen if he fell ad nobody was there. He said "I'll just lay there then!" Sweetest man ever but had a stubborn streak.

I think a camera in the garage is a good idea Fire, you're not "spying" on him that way but knowing if he's there or not. Best of luck, it is difficult.

So I go out to,the garage to get in my car because I have a doctors appointment and I have a flat tire. Great.
So I call AAA and it will take at least 50-60 minutes to get to me. So the guy gets here fixes the tire and says, let me check the other tires for you and put air in them. Well,guess what, my front right tire has a slow leak, so now 2 tires have to be replaced.

Guess what I am doing Saturday? Tire shopping. What a day!

Sorry to hear that. Go to tirerack.com purchase there and have them sent to your nearest tire shop. They ask for the tire shop you want them sent to at the time of purchase. Never shopped anywhere else for tires. And I own expensive vehicles so trust best solution.

Xfizzler, never heard of the place you mention. Thanks so much for mentioning it. Appreciate it. I certainly can find better use of money than spending it on tires!
