Anxiety and Caffeine
#51
I think a one shot/ or weak cup of coffee is okay. I am slowly starting to handle caffeine Yay! after a year of none at all.
Stay away from de caf yuk! does not make sense, unless for medical reasons of course or if you enjoy your lucky!
But the taste of it does not make sense , I would rather not have coffee at all if that is the case

Start slow like with green tea for a week or two can be purchased in most supermarkets, move on to twinnings english breakfast/ PG tips (for my brit folks here) which is black tea we here in the UK drink with a dash of milk yum!. Or any other black tea worldwide not sure of brands. It is a little stronger than green do that for another couple of weeks.
Then have a coffee and see how you feel/ or if your adventurous go for a Grande in Starbucks. ahh how i miss the buzz of coffeeSmile

I't sounds funny that we have to do this over something as minor as coffee, but with b3nz0 tampered brains we can be sensitive to anything. Also allergies is listed as one of the withdrawal symptoms! gosh!

Hope your keeping well guys! GO for green tea!

I WISH so badly I could drink caffeine. I simply don't know what
to use to wake up in the morning which I need badly since
I'm a night person! Sad

I find I can handle a wake-up coffee but nothing after 10 am. I find I have become more caffeine sensitive as I’ve grown older. A post-dinner coffee? Forget it.

A holistic DR in told me caffeine was a terrible drug on you nervous system and the acidic content would take a tole on your stomach. Now I'm not a quitter, but I have cut back a lot. I think one cup in the morning is reasonable.

Caffeine gives me anxiety too. I just make my coffee extremely weak and then it works fine.

I used to be able to drink like 6 cups a day, infact used to love a double espresso in the morning. After b3nzos that all changed, i can only handle green tea or black tea which has a little caffeine and i still can feel it strongly.
I really hope my intolerance to coffee caused by b3nzos reverses as this sucksSad
