Lol. It's really about dropping your "R"s in conversations. It's one of the few accents I can do well and pull off. If I'm in Boston I have to catch myself to not start dropping Rs.
I don't think it's sexy (especially the women) but wow, so much fun to be around. And there is a difference in accent from North End Italians and South Boston Irish aka "Southies."

Fair warning: People from Boston curse like NY and Chicago. So if you are easily offended by swearing, skip these videos. But they are PERFECT Boston accents.
Oh and Boston is beautiful and a GREAT town! Always a great time.

yeah Im getting it.

Yeah, you're kinda mixing,Boston with Chicago. Chicago doesn't care--we'll just,ignore ya. But,be,careful in Beantown. They'll start a fight,just,for,something to do. And I'm totally serious. Last time I,was in Boston, I got to Fenway at,the,6th inning. At Wrigley scalpers will sell ya a ticket for $10 that,late in the game. Also in Chi town if u aren't interested in the price they say, you keep walking. Not Boston. I offended a scalper in the 6th inning bc he still wanted $60 for a shit seat. So I kept walking and, the f*in guy followed behind me, screaming that maybe I should go to a movie if I expected a Red Sox ticket for cheap, even in the,late innings. I finally had to address him as a "lady" (in Boston terms, lol) and he finally walked away.

However, after Wrigley Field, Fenway is the best ball park I've been in. Yes, I actually made it inside several times.
