Yes expect delays as government workers concentrate on the new crisis, and the number of workers in general in reduced.

What I am concerned about is getting your regular prescription completed when your local pharmacy cannot
fill it because of slow transportation and manufacturing stoppages and delays.

People that need their regular meds should be a priority.

Good point. I'll be trying to make pharmacy visits for regular prescriptions early in the morning when it is least busy. I really don't want to be in line for ages as it seems risky.

That said, in the UK I'm already having problems just getting a normal GP appointment to repeat prescriptions (we have a different system to the USA). I only need about 3 minutes of their time over the phone, but that is proving difficult.

I saw last week that EU is suspending all flights to US for 60 days.. not sure if that includes postal/parcel flights though. Anyone else hear that or getting a delays in shipments? Tried searching but can only find info on travel flights.

Just one thing to keep in mind. 
Stock of magazines. 
There is a LARGE amount that are published in a now very critical country!
And many vendors are not only unable to ship, they are unable re-stock.  A double edged sword!!!

US Pharmacy's absolutely provide subscriptions from this critical location.  I get ONE subscription that is clearly marked and the information on google leaves no doubt as to the origin!!!!!!

This situation we find ourselves in is an iceburg.  And we are only seeing the tip of it right now.

What I’ve heard is shipping will continue as usual for the most part because it would be impossible to catch up on shipments by all shipping companies if it was halted. Should be travel only related and small shipping delays. But like I said it’s just something I heard.

It def would be impossible, but here in US where borders are being closed I’m wondering if it’s just travel or shipping too. I feel for our postal workers and they aren’t even getting hazard pay.

For some this may already be too late, but it might be wise to count how many days worth of reading you have. How much can you stretch it out? If your reading is to help anxiety then conserve now because you may need to read more when things get worse. And I fear things will get worse before they get better.

Also this forum is like an extended family so I agree about sharing information (and I think if people could provide their sources for info it'd help because there will be some fake news. I'm afraid that some of us will need to vent, especially those stuck in their homes an unable to see friends and/or relatives in real life.

Okay so mail cannot move like it did before Carona. I don't know about restocking, however my question is this. If there is a shipment made but mail isn't flying out
to the USA, because there are no planes then it has to sit, right? My question would be where would it sit? In a warehouse at a postal facility? There has to be a fair amount piling up,
and with little or no inbound US flights it has to wait, but where? Is anyone watching it?

As of 3/26 USPS is continuing to work with International air carriers and contract air carriers to keep mail moving per their website. My friend who works for the Post Office says she still seeing international packages coming in.
