Ambi3n (z0lpid3m)
I have to take something from time to time... I always try to
Not over do one thing or another, so that I won't build a
tolerance to anything... But there is one substance I will
avoid like the plague... halci0n ...

If you take that junk, go directly to bed! You will never realize
When you actually go to sleep.. You will still be talking, driving,
or anything else and only remember bits and pieces of what
went on!!

I evidently, went Joy riding in Austin, never knew it.. All I remember
is having a dollar bill in my pocket that night, getting lost, running
through a ditch with the passenger side, creasing somebody's
red car (I pieced that together the next morning) AND that dollar bill
was gone, except for .67 cents AND I had aquired a blue star earring..
I have no idea where I spent 33 cents, but evidently, I got the earring
for cheap...

Use caution with that stuff.. I never tried that again

I can’t take the 12.5. Just does a number on me. I have no issues with the regular 10mg. There must be something in the extended release that doesn’t work well with me.

Same here. The XR  don't do a thing on me, that is extremely weird .

Closest alternative would probably be Z@piclon£ but personally I've always found it leaves me really groggy next morning and has a weird side effect of leaving a strong metallic taste in your mouth next day so I'm not a big fan.

I have always had sleep issues and took amb for a couple years but it started having the opposite effect. Dr switched me to traz . It works much better and no sluggish feeling in a.m.

I wonder what is I the extended release that causes a few of us to feel weird when we take it? Anyone know?

I’m amazed at everyone who seems to have issues with ambien. I’ve taken it for 18 years, and the only Ill-effect I have is not sleeping if I don’t have it! I’m fortunate to have a doctor who doesn’t have an issue prescribing it (especially in NY). I feel it should be OTC and more accessible to people.

Most of us re referring g to the extended release not the regular one

Anyone have experience with Notix brand?

I can no longer get zolp prescriptions in NE. Sad It really helps me, and has for about 14 years I think. They want to switch me to seroquel but I’m scared since it’s off-label and I have tachycardia (which it could aggravate.) It’s a med for schizophrenia! I’m sick of switching sleeping meds. I’ve tried so many now. Traz, Remer0n, Buspar, Rozarem... there are probably more. Pretty much all off-label prescriptions. Since when did that become safer for Dr.’s to prescribe than medication that was intended for its use?

Ser0quel make you feel like garbage the next day. Plus you feel like there was none REM Sleep. Even I am not a fan of z0lpidem, Ser0quel shouldn't be prescribed for insomnia. Have tons of side effects , lipid profile, diabetes, etc . Also, the tolerance build much faster than with z0lpldem.
For me , the best for sleep is alpr@z0lam 5 days, and then 2 consecutive days pregabalin . With that , you will not have tolerance or had to increase the dose over time.
But, anything, except Ser0quel, by far one of the worst things I tried for sleep.
