I've just started posting after a long hiatus, so I hope I'm not breaking any rules as a newbie once again.  I've always communicated with Perdur through safe-mail, but since safe-mail has crashed and reading the thread on them and their cooperation with LE, I'm wondering if they've shut down.  I have a countermail address, but I'm an IT dummy, and setting up an account is requiring me to adjust my computer, and it's taking me some time to understand just what I'm doing so I don't screw anything up. I don't mean to sound like I'm wallowing in any self-pity.  I'm just wondering if Perdur can be contacted or if an old dependable iop has bitten the dust, just like many others have before them--and it's always sudden, and definitive.  Thanks.

Well, yes--you are both right in regards to pointing out that it was ioplist.com that I was a member of, and not ioplist.org.  The odd thing is, both my username and password logged me onto this site.  I apologize for misspeaking, as it was obvious to me that the site had altered--although that it was a new and separate site, since my password logged me in, didn't penetrate.  How long a hiatus from this forum, and others?  I don't know.  Obviously, since before April.  Back to my question though, the comment about LE had to do with safe-mail, which I saw made in a thread on them on this site, not about LE and the iop.  All I know is that the safe-mail site explains of a severe technical problem.  Check their site out for the details if you're interested. Obviously the iop has cut it's ties to safe-mail for sending emails. Maybe because of an LE connection?  I have no way of knowing that.  Whatever happened, it happened sometime in the last two months.  This particular iop is one of a number that I know, so I'm not in constant contact with them.  Again I'm sorry for the misunderstanding.  This iop has been around a long time, and I figured the name would be familiar.  I'm not the only one who has had nothing but positive dealings with them.  I must be mistaken that they are discussed anywhere on this site.  I thought I saw a thread on them.  Again, I apologize to both of you who have so far responded--and anybody else.

I thought I was simply asking a question.  I figured either someone was familiar with what was going on or it didn't even warrant a reply.  You are 100% correct Athena.  Based on the nature of the replies I received--even when I just said hello--I'm more than glad to drop it.  All is well with my soul too Charon--and I read the rules above my head before I wrote a word.  Didn't seem to help, did it Audrey Hepburn?  Good luck with your site.

my question is if there is any and I mean any thought, chance or hint of LE why would even look for them?

Thank you for your post Athena.  I logged back on with a bit of trepidation, but your post was very kind, and I understand what you mean.  To address your question Airraid101, the answer is no.  The fact that I even mentioned LE was from a comment in a thread on this site on the email service safe-mail.  My comments referred to them and not the iop, and the person's comment's validity on the safe-mail thread on this site is not even something I can possibly know .  To mention LE at all as a newbie, and as Athena pointed out, to mention an email only iop again as newbie really brought down on me mistrust, which I can understand.  Yet, at the same time, I felt that my words were completely misconstrued.  Undoubtedly my fault.  Again, it is kind of you Athena to write me, and speak of getting off on the wrong foot.  Thank you again.

Yeah... Hang around a bit Duffy.... You'll soonsee that all we are trying to do is protect others... We have no mal-content, just being cautious...
I too have heard something about the "safemail" co-opperating with LE and that is enough to keep me away...
I'm sure you will have loads of info that can and will help someone in dire straits....
We only want the best of the best... All others need not apply....

no problem duffy I just get real tense when that is brought in and yes we are here to help in any way but in a safe way it will work out just read make friends and read more but most of all be safe!

This source is a blast from the past. This is one of the first sources I used over 10 years ago on drugbuyers.com. He was one of the good ones.
