I meant where are you referring to? So you mean when you track because mine will show a zip once it's in the correct town to be delivered. Never before though

I've been pretty lucky in avoiding LL's. And that's saying something since I live in Canada, and Canadian customs are pretty good at their jobs. You just have to be smart where you order from up here. The only LL's I've ever received were from India, but that was a while back.

I had a letter inbound into of Friday (11/06) morn and it made it through on Monday (11/09)...and it has been delivered....I know that there was some software maint done over the weekend but as much as I am a trackaholic, I swear there is no rhyme nor reason to how things traverse the system

No Snappy, no there isn't!

Haven't had any issues with LL's in the past and hope not to experience any in the future. I think if you work with a solid person, and they are discrete you should have no problems, except for the random exception. USPS can be pretty screwy though and have seen some weird stuff on the tracking info as it goes through sorting/customs etc

I know that shipping/delivery times can be longer simply because of the time of year, but I wonder if because of the increase in shipping this time of year, that it may actually result in lower LL's simply because of the increase in volume....perhaps this may be one of the best times to order.....anyone else have any thoughts about this?

I have always had the same theory due to overwhelmed postal services but I don't order much this time of the year due to past delay experiences. No LL's though.

I use to think this was a better time of the year to order but I don't think it matters that much when you order anymore in my humble opinion.

Snappy I had similar thoughts.
