Adderall
#41
Yes sorry my spell check is rediculous. Kratom, just had to spell it 4 times, gives you tons of energy. It's off topic, sorry won't talk about it anymore but try a white vein Maeng da. You'll be bouncing off the walls with energy.

You can get Schedule 2 adderall easier than any schedule 4 benzo!

I think this is ok to post.  Does Anyone know where to get adderall?  The cost of my script is too much.  Thanks in advanced.

I have never tried real @ddys. Are they worth the money? Seem awfully expensive so I'm just wondering how alert they make one feel?

Depends on the dosage and the release method (and your body mass).  Remember, Adderall is nothing but legally formulated, packaged, and prescribed amphetamine salts:

20mg Adderall IR (Instant Release) won't just make you feel "alert" - The first few times you take it you'll feel like you're about to jump out of your skin - It isn't so much "alertness" as it is hyper-stimulation.  You'll lose your appetite completely, and if you aren't at work, where you can concentrate on tasks at hand, you'll end up cleaning your house from top to bottom - sitting down isn't an option.  You'll need to drink plenty of water, as you'll notice your mouth getting dry about an hour after ingesting the tablet - Dehydration is severe with this medication.

30mg Adderall IR (Instant Release) - Multiply the above effects by .33.

The IR versions last about 4 hours, after which the comedown ("crash") is swift and unpleasant.  Doctors typically prescribe 20mg of IR twice daily.

Adderall XR (Extended Release) comes in capsuled dosages ranging from 5mg to 60mg.  It doesn't "hit" one like Adderall IR does, but ramps up slowly over the day. ramping down after about 6 hours for a much more gentle comedown.  Effects are milder, but similar to the IR version.

This is not a drug I'd recommend using recreationally - It is prescribed for ADHD and Narcolepsy, and if used for any other purpose has a VERY high potential for abuse, and as a powerful CNS stimulant, abuse can lead to fatal overdose.

Harley I my neighbor's son took 30 mg of adderall a day for years, He was young, 5th grade. The teacher would show the parents, he made all A's, and all 0's nothing in between. He was very smart, but very disruptive,. when he decided to try, he was one of the smartest in the class. But most of the time he was unmotivated and disruptive. Nice.. not mean, but always talking, hyperactive. They put him on Adderall and that changed his life. They said it allowed him to express himself. The teachers were happy, i know that. His grades got much better. He lettered, was on the wrestling team..It is a strong drug. this kid is an adult now and he does not take the Adderall, and he is very unorganized and irresponsible. He refuses to take the drug now, but has had problems, nothing with the law, except tickets, failure to continue his insurance simple things. Even lost his driver's license because of failure to keep his paperwork up.. Has a good job, works hard. For me I see it works for those who need it.

Well said, Harley!  I am of the evil baby boomer generation (you know, the generation that NYT opinion writers blame for all US domestic fiscal shortfalls - I hope I'm able to read the NYT from  heaven after I pass, can't wait to see who they blame when we're all gone), so ADD / ADHD didn't exist as diagnoses for us.  As children we were simply labeled as hyperactive, none too smart, and prone to bad behavior, which just translated into "Sir, Ma'am, you need to whip the tar out of that boy more than you're doing", which encouragement my Daddy just shrugged and took to heart - So in addition the the whippings I was already getting (This was Central Texas in the 60's and 70's - whipping one's children was standard parental behavior, and my Daddy didn't want to be long about it, so he'd grab the first thing that caught his eye when it came whipping time; a hoe, a rake, or a shovel if he wanted to get it done before going in the house, or once in the house, a rolling pin, a cutting board, or a wooden coat hanger, and go upside my head with it two or three times, then be off about his business).

I never even heard of ADHD until my psychiatrist, who has been treating me for GAD for 11 years or so now gave me a standardized test after I described the problems I was having at work...I was a programmer then, and my job was coding device drivers for digitizers, scanners, printers, and the old Gould image processing hardware boxes, so I was writing kernel level code for various flavors of BSD and system V UNIX workstations produced by HP / Apollo, Tektronix, MIPS, DE, and Sun - "C" and the assembler language for either the Motorola 88K chipset or the RISC chipset, and I found it enormously difficult to concentrate on finishing one code module at a time - Often, by the end of the day I'd have partially completed 3-5 modules and written myself a list of where to pick up with each of them the following day.

As you might imagine, I "passed" the standardized ADHD test with flying colors, and was first prescribed Dexedrine, which made me into a whirling dervish of productivity, but also raised my blood pressure and body temperature, and left me a quivering mess by the end of the day.  I was then switched to Adderall (20mg 2x per day), which had the same effect.  When my Doc switched me to Ritalin it was like a whole new world opened up, not only can I now focus on the wide array of multitasking efforts required to manage projects and programs, but I have no side effects at all.

Just goes to show yet again that people react to medications in quite different ways, that's why there are so many variants of them for treating the same condition.

Again, great post Harley - adds  the context mine left out.  A+, my friend.

Aw, thank you Fire.  That sort of thing was the norm at that place and time, I don't think I got it any worse than any of the other kids in my elementary school did.  If we got a particularly good bruise or "egg" on our heads, we'd compare them and laugh about it.

All of that was long ago and far, far away - And honestly, the only effect it had on me was to make a vow when our first child was born never to hit my own kids.

I take adderall to supplement Nuvigil for a sleeping disorder.  It is scary stuff and a pain in the ass getting the script refilled but it helps tremendously with concentration/focus and thankfully sleepyhead issues.  Crazy how the effects are so different with everyone.
