Unfortunately for me (30's) age it is tough tryn to get a script for it. Modalert is what I use at the moment. Sy adds are WAY expensive.
My SYs don't even carry 10mg Novartis Ritalin any longer, much less 30mg Adderall...They tell me it is too hard to get. I found a vendor in the IOP List that carries the Novartis Ritalin in 100 tab or 200 tab lots, but the price is astronomical...I used to get them from a well known and respected SY here for 1/4 of what this IOP sells them for.
Once the letters I'm waiting on now arrive, I'll have to try one of the top vendors in the IOP List, he has the Ritalin for reasonable prices.
But Adderall? I saw one IOP list the ER version last week (at a decent price), and they were out of stock that same day. Times sure have changed.

I'm in 50's age group I don't have a problem getting a script, it's the insurance company that's a pain in the arse. I take it for hypersomnia which is a little like narcolepsy.  (you wouldn't believe how many sleep studies I went through before being diagnosed).  Have you tried talking to your dr about EDS? (excessive daytime sleepines) Your Dr may not require you to go through the sleep studies for the diagnoses to get a script. Just a thought.

LOL. I can't help you with that other than to say do a little reading, when you go in tell her what you've tried, what did and didn't help.

^^^^ I agree with noahphex it's one of those things like Opiate products in the IOP game. Most of the time you arent getting any of the REAL active ingredients found in products manufactured and distributed here in North America. I have never taken the plunge and ordered any opiates from an SY or IOP vendor, but I have seen so many bad reviews on them that I wouldnt even waste my time. Plus, even when taken for legitimate reasons Opiates are very dangerouys and HIGHLY addictve. I know we are talking about adderal but I'm just using the opiates as a comparrison.

The 30mg have been hard to come by with a script as of late where I live, my wife takes them and a lot of pharmacies have been out.

Even the 20mg are almost impossible to find at pharmacies - My youngest daughter's (the last one in college, and she's graduating this year, hallelujah - Our budget for fun stuff is going to increase dramatically now that we've paid for her last semester of her senior year tuition and residence hall) Doctor gave up hope after she wasn't able to find it for 6 weeks. First he switched her to Ritalin, which makes her feel sick, then they finally settled on Focalin, which she seems to be pleased with.
