fascinating!  Starlite was quite popular on DB (until they weren't anymore).  I always steered clear and stuck with the email source I had at the time (which I lost touch with since ).  

This thread makes me so happy I never joined DBG : I remember reading a scam the scammer type situation where someone was impersonating Jim which, if they weren't trying to rip people in pain off, would be hilarious because who wants to be THAT GUY.

I have read that vendors must pay to be listed. Its my understanding if they will take business from starlite, he will shut them down.

Apparently the members need to donate funds, ha! to be allowed to see real sources.

There are many whom go there daily. But, as bighead mentioned, many of their accounts are fake. If they ban a member, they will change their posts to be very happy with the vendor they critiqued.

Well, i dont' want war with another forum. And, i surely do not want all my hacked info and pictures and identity put back up by DBG. It did take two years, even though i am an attorney, to get it all down. One year for the american sites. One year for the sites hosted in the UK. on me. ???

But, i cannot sit idly by and let u guys get ripped off. Or, doxxed yourselves. It is a brutal experience.

Their moderator used to ask for donations for new vehicles. You kidding me?

If you cannot handle a forum without taking money or meds or losing your ethics, you should not be hosting a forum.
