Western union payments

No problem, you can send money online through WU, but it requires you to make an account and use your real identity to send the money. I would avoid this and use a local grocery or general store to send. They haven't ever checked my id so fake name is the way to go, so animity is in your favor going that route. I don't remember right now but I think it's cheaper in person as well. Could be wrong on that. it should cost like $10 to send online plus bank fees if you have any with your bank.

Fake names are a good way to hide you idenity.. But.. If anything ever "went wrong" with the transaction, well then your screwed for sure...

Lesser of two evils I assume...

When I tried one online it was a lot more than that, and it was a confusing process. Plus bank fees of course, and the long delay. I'll have to try one in person at some point but it makes me nervous for some reason.

Hi guys,i know what you mean W.B,the employees at the gr store I go to think I'm trying to hook up with a bunch of foreign woman, sending money to try to win their affection,or something a lot more perverted.i go to the same one,and have an account w/ W.U,under a semi-sudo name.a lot lately they ask me to spell out the names I send to,gotta rehearse,be polite and confident.usually on Fridays is a good day a lot of $ being sent home to help out elder family out of the US.

Online for me was way to much hassle plus it is more money to do it online.

Be careful going to online route.... I was banned from a certain company by sending online repeatedly and then I was informed that they not only banned me, but also had ALL of my personal info, such as REAL name, location, card info, DOB, etc....

Just to make a mention in this topic I almost got taken by some scanners that hacked my info from a pretty reputable up and some how got my phone number even though I never posted it . Long story short they tried to get me to send cash through WU to a country that wasn't the usual destination and I almost sent but got wise in the end. But I have a friend that has used the same up and paid using WU so make of it what you will just thought I'd share my story Thanks

I just had to pick up some funds I had sent for some unforeseen problem .... Luckily I had used my real name as they needed to see my ID to pick it up ....

There was not a problem with that one, so the next time I figured, "Hey, why not just do it on line and skip the knotheads at the service (lol) window."

Set up my acct with no problem in the least, but when I went to confirm my transaction, Geeze Louise! the "convience" charge was outta site! it went from 14 to 55! Are you kidding me?!?! Seems like if you don't have to have an agent to pay, it would be cheaper... Nope ...

Now that makes not one lick of sense ....

I'll make that trip to the store for 41 bucks, that is just insane ...
