stocking up?

I just started to stash 25% of each order for this purpose, i write it off in my head so I dont just run through inventory.

that seems like a smart thing to do...thanks for the idea

Yeah, I like the 25% idea too. It's rather like saving money isn't it? You put aside a little everytime you get paid, or in this case receive a delivery. I guess the percentage depends on our circumstances and means, but it's smarter that ordering stupid amounts and running the risk of intent to supply.

I dunno if anyone else has had this, but at the height of my anxiety I became obsessed with stocking up. Really obsessed. That became part of my illness. I had emergency stashes everywhere. In the end I had to force myself to put everything in one very safe place. Arguably it is more suspicious if you hide things everywhere. If nothing else, it might suggest you know you are doing something wrong. It also seems more like the behaviour of an addict.

I too live in an "extra" small town... There are actually appox 12 houses (but most of them (8) are across the county line in another county altogether So I qualify for living in a small town lol ...

As far as our postman, I made it a point to get to know the 2 of them when we got here and this past Christmas, I slipped him a card with a 20 in it and told him it's was cause I knew that all the "E-Bay" and "Amazon" pkgs I was getting was bound to be wearin on his nerves... Also they believe I put together computers and drones, so I'm always getting small boxes from everywhere

As a matter of fact, just last week as he handed my SO one of my pkgs, he told her that he could only wish that  everybody else on his route was as good as we were

I planned ahead and made friends with the folks that bring my pkgs to me first rattle out of the box and it's helped relieve some of the stress of dealing with them ...

There is a plus and minus to this idea of stocking up. I thought I touched on this in this thread but couldn't find it so I'll repeat it shortly. There is legislation to make ordering a 90 day supply form other specific country's legal. That is far from the truth. There have been bills put through the judicial branch of the government but never executive branch. So the idea was there. But they did exclude most schedule medicine that we all seek. So it's never been legal but it obviously is tolerated to an extent. You honestly shouldn't keep more than a 90 day supply of anything since your entering the idea that it might not be for personal use if ever questioned. Second stocking up with thousands is pretty irrational. Medication goes bad and deteriorates quality over time. Yes this is dependent on what medication it is. But still best to keep the stock at 90 days IMHO. We all live with the uncertainty of not being able to order more if some laws were to pass preventing the flow from coming in but it's always been that way. Just my 2 cents.

Good on you for clearing up your stance. It does seem that your only on the hunt for meds in wreck-less manner. But just listen to the mods and read as much as you can before chiming in. You'll find your way to what you need with a few days and a couple hours of research. Good luck
