MEXICO CITY - Mexican police found a multi-drug shipment that included an astonishing 100 pounds of the synthetic opioid fentanyl in a vehicle near the city of Ensenada in Baja California, officials said Thursday.

Fe tanyl can be fatal in doses of just a few milligrams. To put the size of the haul in perspective, a seizure last year of 4.5 pounds of fe tanyl in Columbus, Ohio, was said by prosecutors to be enough to potentially kill the entire population of the city of 860,000 people.

Police in Mexico said the drug shipment seized near Ensenada also included 914 pounds of crystal m th, 88 pounds of c caine and 18.5 pounds of h roin.

Police arrested a man who was driving an SUV stuffed with the drugs near Ensenada. The drugs were so bulky they were stuffed into a pile of sacks that filled the rear of the vehicle.
The man was initially stopped because he lacked a front license plate.

In November, Mexican authorities seized 31 pounds of f ntanyl hidden in a car on a highway between the Gulf of California and San Luis Rio Colorado, which is home to a border crossing with Arizona.

An accidental overdose of f ntanyl was determined to have killed music legend Prince in April 2016.

And a coroners finding showed that among the medications found in the system of the late rock star Tom Petty were f ntanyl and o yc done.

This war on drugs isn't working.  More dangerous items are being created to replace the originals that people want and this is the result. Angry

Yeah, y'all.
Not being road ready and how they simply threw the stuff in the back, literally looks like it was thrown and wow did they fill it up.
Rather not worried, maybe the pay off did not make it ahead of time.
Looks like a breaking bad type of situation in real life with that look to it.

But they are in fact creating a worse situation the way it is going with the war on  d rugs.
Guiding folks straight into this .
Sometimes I think they even know it.
Jaded Yes.

Thanks Audrey.

I am glad I am not alone in thoughts that to some seem jaded.

You'd think that would be in "Drug Dealer 101" wouldn't you? ;-)

But in this case just as well really!
