(09-15-2018, 06:41 PM)Autoimmune diseases can be regulated a number of ways, for me the biggest thing was not being willing to go on pain killers ever again. I also didn\t want to go down the road of immuno suppressive therapy, so I looked for other ways to increase the endorphins in my body to kill pain in a more natural way. I found that hiking, walking, running, and a general love of the outdoors made a vast improvement in the pain level. Of course there's always people that you want to meet and talk with more as you get to know them, but getting to know people takes time. Someday I think I'll learn enough to spend 50 years with someone, watching our lives together play out at an anniversary party after that much time together seems like it would be a very incredible and surreal moment. Surrounded by friends and family like that is a moment worth waiting for. Thanks for everything! Charon Wrote: well, usually one makes this post in their welcome thread. i stink at merging topics. From one welcome thread to another. I shall learn.
So, many have been with men whom are jackasses. We just all rise above. And i so understand pTsd, as i have it fairly bad. And MS. Lupus. So, I have knowledge of autoimmunes. Studied them for yrs.
I think the first thing that happens whenn u get an autoimmune is brain fog.
u cannot think clearly. I can look up ur alleged illnesses at another date as i do know much medical lingo.
I am a doctor of law though.
So, we have busy periods and less busy periods. But, we usually have a person whom want to meet u and talk with u as u post more. Others will identity with ur life and ur medical history. You can make friends here.
It is good to amongst family. Welcome to our family.
