@jjbeans. The kind of sleep you mention is my absolute dream. I think I can count on one hand good sleep i've had in the past 5 years. I will def try the gummies. I've just started spraying my pillow at night with a "calm" spray. not sure its working but it does make my pillow small like a spa which is nice. I should ask my mom if i was a good sleeper as a child. my mother has the same issues as me w insomnia. ah genetics.
congrats on kicking the 0p!ate habit- that is a huge feat. don't be too hard on yourself about the bzos. those take time. i was taking them on the regular for 2 years after an accident and trying to get off was so hard. tapering slowly really worked and the last bit was the hardest. the rebound anxiety was atrocious but gradually i learned to accept that its ok to feel uncomfortable and stressed bc it will pass and i don't need to reach for a p!ll. i can feel these bad feelings and not mask them and most likely they will pass and the next time will be easier.
that said i still im still a panicky person and always will be.
