The community seems very divided on this game, it has been getting some poor reviews and some good reviews. I am about 20 hours in and I love it. Here is my take:
The good:
- World is massive and interesting to explore
- Crafting and building systems are good
- PVE is fun
- Coop multiplayer is fun
The bad:
- There are bugs
- Some people say that playing the game solo feels "lonely" (this doesn't bother me for a post-apocalyptic setting personally)
- The story content is well made, but not as complete and satisfying as single-player fallout games
- PVP system has some major flaws, but is optional
The ugly:
- Graphics are not quite as good as other 2018 AAA games
- FPS capped at 60 (doesn't bother me)
I love exploring, scavenging, crafting, building, and PVE so the game is hitting the right marks for me. If you play on PC, hit me up!
