Benzo long term success stories?

Wow, how much does it vary for each individual!?! I know I don't have anything near a "standard" or "typical" biologic response to many of these, klons seem to last for about 4-6 hours, diaz about 8 hours, and most other benzs don't seem to have any noticeable effect at all. And then there are the similar ones that I get a terrible negative reaction, like halz (makes me hallucinate and can't breathe properly, so No-No-Nope.) I think it's VERY important to track your own physiological reaction to any med, they might not be the same for you as is typical, and there's no real way to tell before you are RX'd something. A good/great MD is a very good thing to have available to you, if possible.

Thanks for all the replies on this, much appreciated! I guess the effects vary from person to person. Thinking about it as a 2-3 week help to get going again, I'm struggling to get out and function again after a really low spell and sleep properly again. Mood has slightly improved but didn't realise how bad anxiety had got in the background. Can be super active, want to get back to that so being zonked is something I'd like to avoid. Extremely difficult to communicate this to my Dr too! 2mg diazepam sounds a great idea.

What's the slowest release Benz0 out there? I've struggled with anxiety for many years, tried quite a few things and would be great to find something that acts gradually. Saw diazepam is slow but anything less noticable?

I think that clonazepam . It have a half life of 30/40 hours . Diazepam is even slower ( 100 hours ) but don't have the anti anxiety properties like Clona.
