Thanks, Psyboi. I am sorry not to reply earlier -- I was having severe depression and was in-patient at a psychiatric ward. I am glad to be home! (And wow, did I miss being able to go online.)
I'm pretty sure I tried Valerian root, years ago, and it didn't work for me. However, I was able to get my out-patient psychiatrist to provide me wit an RX for Ambien, and that works like a charm.
As for pain management, right now, I am spending a large amount on co-pays, medication and Medicare premiums. (People think Medicare is free, but no, it's MediCAID.) My husband has finally agreed to sell our house and move somewhere cheaper, so maybe if that works out, I can pay for massage and/or acupuncture.
