The lyrics are primarily taken from two passages of Scripture: the priestly blessing of Aaron in Numbers 6:22-27, where He declares blessings of God over the people in the name of the Lord, and the blessings for God's people written in the Mosaic Covenant (Deuteronomy 28:6, Exodus 33:14)
The Blessing
Elevation Worship, Kari Jobe, ...
The Lord bless you
And keep you
Make His face shine upon you
And be gracious to you
The Lord turn His
Face toward you
And give you peace
The Lord bless you
And keep you
Make His face shine upon you
And be gracious to you
The Lord turn His
Face toward you
And give you peace
Amen, amen, amen
Amen, amen, amen
The Lord bless you
And keep you
Make His face shine upon you
And be gracious to you
The Lord turn His
Face toward you
And give you peace
As we receive, we agree, amen
Amen, amen, amen
Amen, amen, amen (amen, amen)
Amen, amen, amen
Amen, amen, amen
May His favor be upon you
And a thousand generations
Your family and your children
And tHeir children, and tHeir children
May His favor be upon you
And a thousand generations
And your family and your children
And tHeir children, and tHeir children
May His favor be upon you
And a thousand generations
And your family and your children
And tHeir children, and tHeir children
May His favor be upon you
And a thousand generations
And your family and your children
And tHeir children, and tHeir children
May His presence go before you
And behind you, and beside you
All around you, and within you
He is with you, He is with you
In tHe morning, in tHe evening
In your coming, and your going
In your weeping, and rejoicing
He is for you, He is for you
He is for you, He is for you
He is for you, He is for you
He is for you, He is for you
Amen, amen, amen
Amen, amen, amen (may His favor)
May His favor be upon you
And a thousand generations
And your family and your children
And tHeir children, and tHeir children
May His presence go before you
And behind you, and beside you
All around you, and within you
He is with you, He is with you
In tHe morning, in tHe evening
In your coming, and your going
In your weeping, and rejoicing
He is for you, He is for you
He is for you, He is for you
