Psalm 119:109 - 114

109 My soul is continually in my hand:
yet do I not forget thy law.
110 The wicked have laid a snare for me:
yet I erred not from thy precepts.
111 Thy testimonies have I taken as an heritage for ever:
for they are the rejoicing of my heart.
112 I have inclined mine heart to perform thy statutes alway,
even unto the end.
113 I hate vain thoughts:
but thy law do I love.
114 Thou art my hiding place and my shield:
I hope in thy word.

Today's Prayer...

Dear Father in heaven,

In the world we are full of fear; in you we have peace.
We pray that your Spirit may give us the joy of your heavenly kingdom
and the strength to live in your service. Remember those who suffer pain,
who still have to walk paths of fear and distress. Grant them help,
to the glory of your name. May we be united in hope and in expectation
of what you will give through your great goodness and faithfulness.

In the Name of the Most Holy we
pray in Jesus' Name

Amen
