Experienced Panic Attacks? What do you do?
#44
One thing that helped me hugely, beside benzos, has been Propanonol (or other beta blockers). They stop physical but not mental anxiety but it is surprising how calm you can feel when not shaking or with a rapid heart rate.

I find Doctors prescribe them in the UK for anxiety, panic attacks, high blood pressure, rapid pulse and even speaking anxiety/ stage fright. Not sure about USA and rest of the world however.

Anybody suffering with severe anxiety & panic attacks- I would recommend speaking to your Dr about them. They can cause a bit of brain fog but have been great for my symptoms & stopping them is not an issue like with other meds we all know about.
