Johnny Weissmuller
(born Johann Peter Weißmüller ; June 2, 1904 – January 20, 1984)

was an American Olympic swimmer, water polo player and actor. He was known for having one
of the best competitive swimming records of the 20th century. He set numerous world records
alongside winning five gold medals in the Olympics. He won the 100m freestyle and the 4 × 200 m
relay team event in the 1924 Summer Olympics in Paris and the 1928 Summer Olympics in
Amsterdam. Weissmuller also won gold in the 400m freestyle, as well as a bronze medal in
the water polo competition in Paris. Johann Peter Weißmüller was born on June 2, 1904, in
Szabadfalva, in the Kingdom of Hungary, Austria-Hungary (now part of Romania, and called Freidorf)
into an ethnically Banat Swabian family.









Walter Stacy Keach Jr.
(born June 2, 1941)

is an American actor, active in theatre, film and television since the 1960s. He is the recipient of
several accolades, including a Golden Globe Award, four Drama Desk Awards, two Helen Hayes Awards,
and nominations for a Primetime Emmy and a Tony Award. Keach is known to television audiences
for his portrayal of fictional private detective Mike Hammer on the 1980s television series
Mickey Spillane's Mike Hammer and several revivals and spinoffs, for which he was nominated
for a Golden Globe nomination in 1984. He played the supporting role of Sergeant Stedenko in
Cheech & Chong's films Up in Smoke (1978) and Nice Dreams (1981), and Ken Titus on the
sitcom Titus (2000–2002). He won a Golden Globe and was nominated for an Emmy Award for
playing Ernest Hemingway on the television miniseries Hemingway (1988). Keach was born in
Savannah, Georgia, to Mary Cain (née Peckham), an actress, and Stacy Keach Sr., a theatre
director, drama teacher, and actor with dozens of television and theatrical film credits billed as
"Stacy Keach." The younger Keach was born with a cleft lip and a partial cleft of the hard palate,
and he underwent numerous operations as a child.










Charles Maurice Haid III
(born June 2, 1943)

is an American actor and television director, with notable work in both movies and television.
He is best known for his portrayal of Officer Andy Renko in Hill Street Blues. Haid was born in
San Francisco, the son of Grace Marian (née Folger) and Charles Maurice Haid Jr. He is of Dutch
(original last name Van Heidt) and Irish descent  He attended Carnegie Institute of Technology
(now Carnegie Mellon University), where he met Steven Bochco. He was associate producer
of the original stage production of Godspell in 1971, which was developed at CMU.









Gerald Patrick Mathers
(born June 2, 1948)

is an American actor best known for his role in the television sitcom Leave It to Beaver, originally
broadcast from 1957 to 1963. He played the protagonist Theodore "Beaver" Cleaver, the younger
son of the suburban couple June and Ward Cleaver (Barbara Billingsley and Hugh Beaumont,
respectively) and the younger brother of Wally Cleaver (Tony Dow). Mathers was born in
Sioux City, Iowa, in 1948, the son of a high school principal, and grew up in the
San Fernando Valley, California. Mathers has one sister and two brothers,
including Jimmy Mathers.









Dana Thomas Carvey
(born June 2, 1955)

is an American stand-up comedian, actor, impressionist, screenwriter, and producer. Carvey is best
known for his seven seasons as a cast member on the NBC sketch comedy series Saturday Night Live
from 1986 to 1993, which earned him five consecutive Primetime Emmy Award nominations. Carvey
is also known for his film roles in comedies such as Tough Guys (1986), Opportunity Knocks (1990),
Trapped in Paradise (1994), and The Master of Disguise (2002), as well as reprising his role of
Garth Algar in the SNL spin-off film Wayne's World (1992) and its sequel Wayne's World 2 (1993).
Carvey was born in Missoula, Montana, the fourth of five (with three older brothers and one younger sister)
born to Billie Dahl, a schoolteacher, and William John (Bud) Carvey, a high school business teacher.










Wayne Alphonso Brady
(born June 2, 1972)

is an American television personality, comedian, actor, and singer. He is a regular on the American
version of the improvisational comedy television series Whose Line Is It Anyway? He was the host
of the daytime talk show The Wayne Brady Show, was the original host of Fox's Don't Forget the Lyrics!,
and has hosted Let's Make a Deal since its 2009 revival. Brady also performed in the Tony
Award–winning musical Kinky Boots on Broadway as Simon—who is also drag queen Lola—from
November 2015 to March 2016, and as James Stinson on the American TV series How I Met Your Mother.
Brady was born in Columbus, Georgia, to West Indian parents. He was moved to Orlando, Florida,
as a young child to live with his grandmother and aunt. Brady refers to his grandmother,
Valerie Petersen, as his "mom", since she raised him.









Charles Robert Watts
(2 June 1941 – 24 August 2021)

was an English musician who achieved international fame as the drummer of the Rolling Stones from
1963 until his death in 2021. Charles Robert Watts was born at University College Hospital in
Bloomsbury, London, to Charles Richard Watts, a lorry driver for the London, Midland and
Scottish Railway, and wife Lillian Charlotte (née Eaves), who had been a factory worker.
He has a sister, Linda (born 1944), with whom he was close.









Peter William Sutcliffe
(2 June 1946 – 13 November 2020),

also known as Peter Coonan, and dubbed in press reports as the Yorkshire Ripper
(an allusion to Jack the Ripper), was an English serial killer who was convicted of murdering thirteen
women and attempting to murder seven others between 1975 and 1980.  He was sentenced to
twenty concurrent sentences of life imprisonment, which were converted to a whole life order in 2010.
Two of Sutcliffe's murders took place in Manchester; all the others were in West Yorkshire.
Peter Sutcliffe was born to a working-class family in Bingley, West Riding of Yorkshire. His parents
were John William Sutcliffe and his wife Kathleen Frances (née Coonan), a native of Connemara.










Michael Steele
(born Susan Nancy Thomas on June 2, 1955)

is a retired American musician, best known as the bassist for The Bangles. Under the name Micki Steele,
she was a founding member of The Runaways but left in 1975, shortly before the band's major label
debut. For the next several years, she played with various other musical groups for short periods of time.
Steele began her professional career as Micki Steele in the teen-girl band The Runaways, one of the first
all-female rock groups. Her stay in The Runaways was brief, leaving the band in late 1975, months before
the recording of their first self-titled album. The main recording of this early period is an August 1975
demo session, bootlegged and later released as the 1993 album Born to Be Bad, with Steele playing bass
and singing lead vocals on most songs.
