He was a wonderful actor. I loved him as Lieutenant-Commander ‘Eric Ashley-Pitt’, nicknamed “Dispersal”, in “The Great Escape.” Also as the Assistant Wireless Operator, ‘Harold Bride’ in “A Night to Remember”, which is the most factual film ever made about The Titanic.
