On most android phones - click settings - about then tap build number5 times - this will put you in developer mode
Once you reach 5 clicks your phone will tell you that you are now in developer mode
Under settings - there are many options for you to use -
Here is a decent list of options -- Just research what you do first because some things are pretty hard to fix if you mess it up

Use this when you think you have been hacked to limit background processes etc.. Once you turn off developer mode it will revert back to the settings you had before
