Diazepam is what I have heard to work well. Does the Phenobarb work a lot quicker to stop them, or is it a used to hold them off from occurring?
Stops them and if one occurred while on it it would prevent. Otherwise no.
But phenobarb if it works it works. Don't mess with success.
