Location Disclosure (Need Clarification)

Hello! I have received mixed answers from several members, some telling me that I can reveal my location in my country, and others saying that I cannot.

Could an admin please clarify? I know what the rules say, but a lot of people are "assuring" me it's fine.

I'm no admin, but I usually offer my general location in IOP list threads, and have never have never been warned about it.  I see others do the same to give members some idea of magazine subscription travel times.  I don't know about mentioning your country, but think I've seen that also offered in a general way.  Check the thread histories to get an idea of what I mean.  I'm located on the upper left coast of Trump/Hillary land.  Anything more specific would be to no ones advantage.  I think once you or I reach 50 posts then we can pm and more detailed information could be exchanged?
