Just stumbled on this site which claims to make using bitcoins even easier than Coinbase.

It's like PayPal and Coinbase mixed together. They are able to offer PayPal like services for free because they are using the bitcoin platform to send and receive money. In fact, the way they have it set up, you hardly even know bitcoin is being used. It's a perfect solution for those who have avoided crypto-currencies because of the inherent degree of IT know how just to acquire one.
Although, becasue of the PayPal like features, it no doubt leaves a paper trail. But so does MG and WU. But, even if it's not used for IOPs it could just about replace MG and WU on every other front.
Disclaimer: I just found this site yesterday, and although the above statements sound admittedly like a sales pitch, I can not personally vouch for Circle.com, having only begun my research and not as of yet actually employed their services.
