When I was five or six years old . . .
My father sat in front of me. He put up one hand, facing me, then used his other hand to slide the thumb on the facing hand to move and slide his thumb along the top of his index, facing, hand. He moved his thumb along the facing hand out, then back to the original position.
Amazing. At the time, it was the strangest thing I'd ever seen, first hand.
