I'm crying like a baby!

When I was 10-11 years old, I was cutting onions, and crying.

My mom said if I held a fork in my mouth while I chopped, the onions wouldn't bother me.

So I put the handle of steel fork in my mouth and kept cutting until I noticed I was still crying and my mom was laughing. 

I guess it was kind of early gullibility training.
