Harley I my neighbor's son took 30 mg of adderall a day for years, He was young, 5th grade. The teacher would show the parents, he made all A's, and all 0's nothing in between. He was very smart, but very disruptive,. when he decided to try, he was one of the smartest in the class. But most of the time he was unmotivated and disruptive. Nice.. not mean, but always talking, hyperactive. They put him on Adderall and that changed his life. They said it allowed him to express himself. The teachers were happy, i know that. His grades got much better. He lettered, was on the wrestling team..It is a strong drug. this kid is an adult now and he does not take the Adderall, and he is very unorganized and irresponsible. He refuses to take the drug now, but has had problems, nothing with the law, except tickets, failure to continue his insurance simple things. Even lost his driver's license because of failure to keep his paperwork up.. Has a good job, works hard. For me I see it works for those who need it.
