I've seen that one before Linville, thanks for posting it here.  My single 4-year hitch in the Army was so long ago ('82-'86) that today's Army is quite literally unrecognizable to me, from boots to rules of engagement.  I'm a life member of my old Infantry Division's Association, so when I go to the occasional reunion, I'm treated to equipment demonstrations, a pass in review formation by the current members of the Division, and demonstrations of simple exercises such as "The Infantry Squad in Attack" and "The Infantry Platoon in Attack".  The Army may have changed dramatically since my day, but my God...The soldiers are something to behold.  We were pretty good at soldiering, but these young men and women today, with their advanced weapons, equipment, technology, and tactics, and their sheer commitment to their jobs are more than my and my fellows equals - I hate to admit it, but I think they surpass us in almost every regard.

Thank God our nation continues to produce these stellar individuals, they really are worthy of their ranking as America's most trusted institution.
