Nice Top Ten Spanky.  Number 5 and 6 are my weak points.  Yes Liville, I remember shelling the peas   fo hours....  I never see that anymore..

Shelling those peas or stringing those beans were a time that the older members of the family passed down some wisdom.

I can remember around my grand mom's home and them doing it and sitting around talking .....wish I could remember what all was said.

The city they lived a produce truck came around with weigh scales and you could buy fresh produce right out front of your house., yummy food too.
Tomatoes, half runner green beans , corn , well you know all of it.
