Reminds me of a story my dad told me years ago.. He said he was riding his horse out in west Texas when in front of him was 20 or so wild indians.. So when he turn around he saw more than 50 behind him... He then realized that they were on both sides of him...
So I had to ask, "What happened Pop?"
He said,"Well son... They killed me."
I said,"But Pop, you're here now... You're still alive!"
He said,"Son.. Look around you... Do you really call THIS living?"

Thanks, Roses, for your kind words about my house remodel - I think it will look lovely although I am probably a bit crazy to install pale grey oak floorboards in a climate like the UK's.
