Hi C,
Sorry that you are feeling so sad. I think most people feel like they messed up a relationship and it was the one. Hind sight is 20/20as they say. As an older woman, I feel like I will never find, the one, again. People tell you all those cliches....there are other fish in the sea, if they really were the one for you, it would have wòrked out, you need to move on with your life, etc....but that hole in your heart, always seems to be there. And the thoughts in your head, what if I had done this or didn't do that. I get it.

But when you get to my age and you look back, you really realize how short life is. And you sort of have to decide how you are going to live this brief time we have on this planet. The hole in your heart may never go away. But don't throw your life away. Dude, I would give almost anything to be 32 again and do some things very differently than I did. But I don't get to change all these things I did òr didn't do in my life with a do over.


Please try to find a way to make your life less sad and not grow old with regrets. I didn't say to stop thinking about her. I am saying, try to find people and things to do to make you less sad and give yourself more moments of happiness.

There are  a lot  of people here for support and to talk to, if you are open, you can learn something from every one of us, because we all have our stuggles. It was very brave of you to post what is in your heart. I wish you nothing but good things, Rumor
