Thanks for you reply. Interesting we tried codeine but I get nauseous when I take it. (By we, I mean my physician and I ). Now tramadol is a good suggestion. I didn't know it had some AD properties.
Yes previously I was on a few of the more traditional meds. However, each one had a different effect and my liver started to take a toll. Tapered off of those because the reality is RA is all through my body. I swim almost daily and that helps, but the pain feels like my body has been constantly been beat up. I am just trying to find something that takes the edge off. I know there are many on this board who have there own stories and possibly I might find a new suggestion.
Definitely will discuss the tram suggestion with my MD. Wonder why she didn't suggest it. Thank you so much for your suggestions and information. So much appreciated.
