suggestions on pain pills
#11
CBD salve is made from marijuana. Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and cannabidiol (CBD) are two types of cannabinoids found naturally in the resin of the marijuana plant, Cannabis sativa. Both of these substances interact with the cannabinoid receptors found in the human body, but the types of effects brought about by these compounds couldn’t be more different. For this reason, CBD is more often used as a medical treatment than THC.
THC is the main psychoactive component of the marijuana plant. In other words, THC is the primary agent responsible for creating the “high” feeling associated with marijuana use.

A friend suggested I try the CBD salve. I had heard that it worked for pain but was hesitant. She brought me some to try. I was shocked how it works. Doesn't make me high, controls some of my pain from RA, however the only issue I have with it, it doesn't last long so I have to rub it on my skin 4-5 times a day which is nearly impossible at work.

So my question for anyone who has used it, since medical marijuana isn't yet regulated, is it possible that each jar I get could either be stronger or weaker than the previous. I have no idea how much CBD is in each jar. Reason I ask is because sometimes it doesn't work as well and that is the only reason I can think of. I'm not really an expert on marijuana. Don't even smoke it cause I can't stand smoke.

Hope this helps!

Hi Maniacomaniac,
Yes my physician has also given me the diclofenac.  And I have voltaren.  Agree with you it doesn't last long, that is why I was anxious to try the CBD salve.  I must say, I think the CBD salve works much better, but like voltaren, doesn't last long and have to re-apply often.  You should try it if you can. There is another big issue with it, it smells horrible until it dries.  But after that, no smell.

One disclaimer I Must make regarding my above posts on CBD...I live in a state where it is LEGAL to use and buy. I am not advocating that anyone should use it if you live where it is illegal.
