When signing up and using money transfer services like Western Union and Money gram is there any benefit to doing so using tor? They're already going to have your bank account info anyway, so would it matter?
Also, has anyone found a benefit to using their services via a walk up location over the available web based credit card option?
Thanks
Hello Lunar TOR its one of the safest programmes when it comes to hiding your location ,FBI,police and secret servicies are using it a lot to secure its communication ,so whenever you want hide your actual location its pretty great .Now with western union it doesnt make much sence when you are already giving them up all your personal information when you make a transfer ...Also i wouldnt recomend using TOR for the WU transfer ,they have so many red flags to block your transfer ,withought explaining the reason,so its just extra work for you to be honest and it might rase a flag that may result in even blocking the name of a certain person from using their service .And as was mentioned earlier, police doesnt look for people making payments with western union, they are looking for the sellers,if youa re sending less then 1000 usd every month you have no reason to worry at all.Almost Every single person in USA has a relative in another country,so you have some uncle too) and youa re showing him your love every month with few bucks, its not against the law.
